Sherpa is also called faux-sheepskin or faux-shearling, named after the Sherpa people of Nepal who line their clothes with sheepskin. Sherpa the more animal-friendly alternative, and it is also a lot cheaper and feels just as snuggly. Because of sherpa’s excellent ability to retain warmth and preserve heat, our Cossack Cap feels like wearing a blanket on your head! Machine wash, cool – preferably in a mesh bag to prevent shedding. Do no t tumble dry. You can get it wet – it will dry quickly, but it is not waterproof.
